JEWELLERY CARE

Each IN FREE LAND jewellery piece is thoughtfully selected and crafted from 925 Sterling Silver, with other hypoallergenic materials.

925 silver jewellery can be worn in the shower. Just make sure to dry it after contact with water and store them in a cool, dry place at all times.

Proper caring and maintenance are necessary for any fine jewellery.

To keep your jewellery looking good, avoid exposure to salty air, humidity, perspiration, chlorine, sulphur, cosmetics, household bleach and other chemicals.
Keep your jewellery at a dry and cool place at all times.
Wear your jewellery often to avoid tarnishing.

STORING:
Store Sterling Silvers in a cool, dark place. It is recommended that you store them in individual, airtight zipper bag provided to prevent oxidation.
*Do not store multiple jewellery pieces in the same bag.

CLEANING:
Clean jewellery with a Silver Polishing Cloth gently to remove any oxidation.
*Do not use the polishing cloth on gold plated jewellery as this will strip away the plating.
Instead, gently rub the surfaces of your gold plated jewellery using a soft jewellery cloth.

When polishing, use long back-and-forth motions that mirror the grain of the silver. Do not rub in circles, as this will magnify any tiny scratches.

Proper caring for your jewellery will allow your jewellery to last a long time.

Our Jewellery Materials

Sterling Silver: Sterling silver, also commonly known as 925 silver, a standard material in high quality jewellery. Made with 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals. This makes 925 silver stronger and more durable as compared to other metals made as alloys.

Gold Vermeil: A high quality type of gold-plated jewellery. Its base material is sterling silver and with a thick layer of 18k gold plating for long-lasting colour and shine.
